Water brought the first settlers to Palmetto in the middle 1800s and it quickly attracted yachtsmen and shippers to live here full time when they discovered the beauty and allure of the mile-wide Manatee River.

This residence is a charming 4 bedroom 5 bath coastal home, with handcrafted tongue and groove vaulted ceilings, clean lines and light colors give a comfortable, soothing feel the moment you enter the front door, and into the great room with spectacular views. As you look out at the river, all those feelings of why you moved, or want to move, to the beautiful west coast of Florida sets in.

It’s not unusual to catch glimpses of dolphins, manatees, pelicans, and other water birds that the Manatee River draw in throughout the day.  Walking into the kitchen, in this very open floor plan, are state of the art appliances, a butler’s pantry and dining nook. So much space for this very active family, the downstairs has the main bedroom with a magnificent spa like bath.  A separate guest suite and a laundry room that will be the envy of all who are lucky to see it!

Although their home was Built in 2020, the Ameres’s wanted to maintain some of that rich history, so when they designed the home, they incorporated the rustic Copeland red bricks (from Palmetto’s red brick roads) the previous owners used to construct their home, and repurposed it for their driveway, as well as kept the large gazebo and 500 ft dock that served as a wedding destination for friends and family.

The homeowner’s love the feel of being on vacation each and every day in this amazing house.
